University of Maryland’s construction of MRI research laboratory gets help from IMEDCO

This three-MRI research laboratory, located in the basement with a multi-story build-out, required a unique approach. The install for this laboratory included a PET/MR, High-Field MRI and Research NMR. IMEDCO’s role in this project was critical, as our team was assigned the task of providing preliminary modeling to assist in the pre-planning phase. The university needed this component completed before MRI suppliers were contracted. Final design and installation were completed successfully and met all users’ expectations.
